Speechcraft is an effective programme to develop your public speaking ability and so much more. You will learn how to write a speech, use your voice and gestures to create lasting impressions. You will gain confidence in all aspects of communication, including written and impromptu speeches, body language, active listening and critical evaluation. Time: 7.30pm to 10pm Venue: Near Clarke Quay (City area)

Fees: SGD$197 (pay by 26 Feb) or SGD$218 (pay from 27 Feb onwards)

Fees include membership fee as a Toastmasters Member and 6 months membership fee for Lion City Toastmasters Club.

Total Training Hrs: 14 hours over 5 lessons.

Course Outline:

  • Speech planning, organisation and writing for maximum impact
  • Speech crafting techniques to impress your audience
  • Using eyes, gestures, & voice to become an effective speaker
  • Thinking on your feet and speak on any topic given to you
  • Learn by doing – practise speaking in front of an audience guided by our mentors
  • Participants will complete three practical speaking projects by the end of the workshop
